你 好 nǐ hǎo (Hello)
It’s a greeting used by
someone who meets others for the first time or comes across an acquaintance.
The response is also “ 你好 ”
Example :
A : 你 好，Susan！(Hello Susan )
~ nǐ hǎo,
Susan!
B : 你 好，James ！( Hello James ) ~ nǐ hǎo, James!
你好吗 nǐ hǎo ma (How are you)
If you ask someone
“ 你好吗？” ,that people can say “ 我很好 ”
Example :
A : 你好吗？nǐ hǎo ma ( How are you)
B : 我很好。wǒ hěn hǎo (I am fine)
